Extra-Curricular Activities

Cornwallis Academy boasts over 40 extra-curricular clubs, including Maths, English, Sport, Performing Arts, Science and the Duke of Edinburgh Award to name a few.

All students are encouraged to participate in our wide offering of activities, which are designed to further develop their skills but also to develop a passion for learning, teamwork and a sense of belonging, all while having fun.

Another part of our enrichment programme is educational trips. We aim to provide students with a variety of memorable experiences and opportunities to further enhance their learning. Previous visits include Iceland, Belgium, China and France, as well as expeditions to Borneo and Ecuador. These trips allow our students to be independent and develop both academically and socially.

Extra-curricular Sports Clubs

We have a number of successful sports teams, such as Rugby, Football, Athletics, Netball and Cricket. We also have a strong partnership with Maidstone Rugby Club.
