House Focus Day

On wednesday 7th March we held our first ever House Focus Day!

Students participated in a wide range of activities planned to promote teamwork in their Houses to gain House Points.

Year 7-10 students were divided into vertical groups within each House and rotated round a carousel of activities.

At break and lunch there were several stalls and activities, such as rowing the quickest 100 metres and throwing a ball into the highest hoop to raise money for the Medical Detection Dogs charity. Each House had a stall, selling cakes, sweets, doughnuts and cookies.

If you would like to donate to the charity text ‘PAWS36’ to 70070 or visit their website for more information.

A huge congratulations to Chartwell, who raised the most money for the charity on the day!

We also had some students out and about. Top achievers from each House were selected to go on the rewards trip to Carroty Wood, where they participated in team building and archery activities.

The day was extremely successful and gave students from all year groups an opportunity to develop their leadership skills as well as work with all other year groups.
