Consultation on Admission Policy 2021/22
In accordance with the DfE 2014 statutory "School Admission Code", Cornwallis Academy are now consulting on the following proposed changes to our Admission Policy for 2021/22:
The Academy proposes to reduce the Published Admission Numbers from 255 to 210.
This consultation must take place for a minimum of six weeks with arrangements being determined, finalised and published by 28 February. Full information can be found by clicking the following link:

The consultation period will run from Thursday 19th December 2019 until Thursday 30th January 2020.
During this time, we invite stakeholders to express their view on the proposes changes. Comments are particularly welcome from parents and carers of children between the ages of 11 and 16 or other interested parties. These should be sent in writing to the Academy for the attention of the Clerk to Governors, Cornwallis Academy, Hubbards Lane, Maidstone ME17 4H or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
All written responses to the consultation should be submitted before 4pm on Thursday 30th January 2020. Your response must include your name, address and relationship to the school or any relevant interest you may have with regard to the Academy such as the organisation you represent.
At the end of the consultation period, Future Schools Trust (as the admission authority) will give consideration to the responses received. The Trust will then determine Cornwallis Academy's arrangements for the academic year 2021/22, a copy of which will be published on the Academy’s website.
